for everyone
Fridays zoom by so fast nowadays.

This week, the big news is another new project.  Very happy for Michael and I think this project will be one to look forward to, as much as playing Jung or Rochester.

It was rumored that Michael Fassbender’s name was attached to a UK project, “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy” quite a while ago.  Now reports are that he’s already signed up with Gary Oldman, Colin Firth (who I do like a lot) and Mr. Fiennes.  It seems Fiennes is everywhere, but enough about him.

So if we are keeping track of Michael’s projects, he’s got X-Men filming next month and Tinker in October, both in London.  He’s got Haywire, Jane Eyre, Dangerous Method and XMen coming out next year.  Not bad.  It will keep those of us, who run his sites, quite busy.

Personally, I was worried that after Dangerous, there was nothing on his work list, but then we don’t know what goes behind closed meeting doors.  Sad thing is that all this work is in London, but at least it’s close to home.  It’s nice to know that work is constantly being lined up.

Sad to hear that his name is not attached to “A Single Shot” anymore.  That’s been an up and down project.  I hope that he’ll still have a chance to do it, but if not, I’m sure he’ll find something even more meaty to work on.  There are other projects that I was hoping to see him in, but scheduling and opportunity probably overshadowed some over others.

In a couple of weeks, Comic Con will be happening in San Diego.  Once again, I cannot go.  But if the studios are going to officially announce the cast for Xmen at the event, I’m sure that we’ll see pictures and videos.  I’m asking my good friends, who went last time, if they can get us pictures.  We’re still wondering if the announcement will be a real appearance or if it will be done by video.  It’s cutting close to Michael’s schedule with Method.  It’s not like him to hop planes just for an appearance, but they may just do so.  He does have a couple of weeks between shooting, so he could hang out in L.A for more project meetings.  Personally, I don’t know.  I’m still kicking myself for not going last time, but there was just no way I could have gone.

Casting is still going on for XMen.  Personally, I think there are too many players, and I hope it doesn’t deter from the main story between Xavier and Erik, aka Prof X and Magneto.

Next week, the report will either be early or very late.  I might make it a two weeker, unless something overly exciting happens.

So until next time, with all the XMen news, here are more pictures that have been posted when announcing Michael as Magneto.  It’s nice to reminisce.
